Case Study

Right-of-Way, Toquerville Parkway Bypass Road

Project Info

Rosenberg Associates prepared project base map and right-of-way documents for SRC Land Holdings on a 4.5-mile reach of right-of-way for a new alignment for Utah State Route 17.  The new alignment runs to the south of the existing Toquerville community, as desired by the residents, to preserve the historic part of town and encourage development along the new parkway.  Rosenberg Associates prepared the color aerial imagery and detailed base mapping utilizing our aerial drone equipment.  The finished product included base mapping for the SRC Land Holdings property, plus detailed mapping and right-of-way defined through the 4.5-mile corridor reach.  SRC used the mapping to adjust the proposed alignment originally established by the Utah Department of Transportation to accommodate the Ash Creek Crossing Community Master Plan and better adjust to local topographic conditions.
