Project Info
Rosenberg Associates provided services as a sub-consultant to Horrocks Engineers. Geotechnical engineering work included evaluating the geologic conditions at the site; excavating exploratory trenches and drilling borings at interchange structure locations; obtaining soil samples; and conducting laboratory testing for evaluation of embankment stability, liquefaction analysis, bridge foundation design, sheet pile design, and other earthwork considerations related to roadway grading. Bridge design was completed using vertical capacity from the latest AASHTO Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method for drilled shafts. Work also included a pavement design evaluation.
